Our Story
From electrical contracting to industrial automation
Yaman Elektrik was founded on 6 August 1985 in the Maltepe district of İstanbul by Selahattin Yaman, to operate in electrical supply, installation and contracting. In its early years the company grew through electrical installation works and maintenance contracts for industrial plants.
In the early 1990s it broadened its portfolio to include power factor correction (compensation) systems, crane control systems and thermal oil temperature control systems. This period marked the company’s transition from installation contracting to systems engineering.
From the early 2000s, guided by a principle of continuous development and keeping pace with the times, Yaman Elektrik added automatic control systems and machine automation systems to its service portfolio.
Today, with more than 41 years of experience and under its renewed corporate name, Yaman Otomasyon ve Elektrik Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (Yaman Automation and Electric Industry and Trade Co. Ltd.) remains in the field at over 500 plants domestically and in more than 30 countries abroad.

Four decades of turning points
1985
Founding — Yaman Elektrik
Founded in Maltepe by Selahattin Yaman, beginning operations in electrical supply, installation and contracting.
1990
Move into systems engineering
Power factor correction systems, crane control systems and thermal oil temperature control systems were added to the service portfolio.
2000
The automation era
Automatic control systems and machine automation systems were commissioned, and production line automation panels went into manufacture.
2015
Corporate restructuring
The company adopted its corporate identity under the name Yaman Otomasyon ve Elektrik Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi.

Our switchboards run in over 500 plants of more than 40 leading brands, and on the lines of over 100 foreign companies in more than 30 countries.

Commitments backed by measurement
No quotation is ever based on guesswork. We do not commit to a price or a schedule before a load analysis and a site survey are complete.
Documented quality
Every measurement we take uses instruments with valid calibration, and every report is delivered in archivable form, signed by a certified technician.
Safety first
All live working is carried out under written procedures and lock-out / tag-out discipline. Speed never takes precedence over safety.
Beyond handover
Commissioning is not the end but the start of the relationship. For periodic inspections and fault response you deal with the same team.

Production line automation
PLC-based control panels, operator panels, and automation of conveying and dosing lines.
Measurement and reporting
Electrical installation compliance certificates and earthing (grounding) resistance measurement reports; preparation of periodic inspection files.
